Rupit & Salt of Sallent
The village of Rupit is one of the most beautiful villages in Catalonia, with its stone houses full of history, it is worth a good walk.
One of the most important attractions of Rupit is the Salt de Sallent, the highest waterfall in Catalonia with a fall of 100 meters.
The water that falls with force and splendour by the Salt de Sallent, comes from the Riera de Rupit that is a tributary of the river Ter and that is born in the upper area of Collsacabra, one of the most charming natural regions of Catalonia.
To get to Salt de Sallent, we can choose to leave from the church of Sant Miquel, following the course of the Stream of Rupit. It has no loss because it is very well signposted, and once upstairs, sensations of magic and communion with nature are discovered.

What do they think of us?
We loved it!
Simple but very cozy facilities. We felt well cared for at all times and ate luxury in the restaurant of traditional home cooking.

We will repeat
We wanted to do the L’Esquirol mountain bike route and it was a great success to make night and breakfast at Hostal Collsacabra. Without a doubt, we will return, both for the location and for the pleasant accommodation.
